Impressive mount for a reasonable price.

I have purchased many TV mounts over the years and this is among the best quality and easiest to install I've ever encountered. It is a very solid, sturdy piece of equipment. The rotation mechanism is simple to use and very effective. I was shocked at what a high quality item this was considering its more than reasonable price. It's a bargain! You will not be disappointed.

excellent heavy duty "landscape-to-portrait" mount

We used this mount to turn a 55" TV 90 degrees (landscape mode to portrait mode) so we can store it when not viewing in a circa-2000 alcove that had originally been built for a big tube TV. Works great - smooth, secure, easy-to-use. Very satisfied. It was the solution to a problem we've been trying to resolve for many years.NOTE: This mount by itself does not extend or tilt - it merely rotates the TV. We built a movable panel on full-extension hardware to slide in and out of the alcove.

Had to modify

Had to modify the side brackets because they were in the way. Not enough clearance for cords. Also had to upgrade cheap pull string to a cable that would not break.

Tilts tv .

The mount is OK. Unfortunately if the TV itself is heavier on the bottom like alot are it is unbalanced and will not lock in place straight, but will be tilted to the side. I contacted them and they simply tried to sell me some extender mounts. Purchase with caution!

Monoprice brand is identical

Perfect for mounting my 65" LG in a 4' space between windows. I can store it in portrait when not in use with no exposed cables. Takes a bit of trial and error to balance it on the mounting bracket so it doesn't flop out of level whenever it's stored as there is a bit of play in the lock. I compared side by side (in hand) with the Monoprice and they're identical. I took this off the wall and installed the Monoprice. They function exactly the same so this one went back.
